Infineum today announced that Aldo Govi has assumed the position of CEO of Infineum succeeding Trevor Russell who retired on 30 June.
Aldo brings almost three decades of experience at Infineum which he will leverage as he takes on responsibility for more than 2000 colleagues and contractors in 12 countries.
He said: “I feel honoured to be able to lead the Infineum group of companies at this historic moment, made even more stimulating by the energy transition underway and by the challenges related to the current context of international tensions and economic instability. I see both challenges and opportunities ahead and I have confidence in the quality of the organization in terms of culture, people, and strategy. In our immediate future, there aren’t only additives for fuels and lubricants, but also a diversification towards specialty chemicals aligned with our purpose of creating a sustainable future through innovative chemistry.
“I am committed to continuing to deliver value to all our stakeholders and fulfill our vision of becoming a sustainable world-class specialty chemical company. To succeed in our journey, it is essential that we form real connections with the communities in which we operate and that we maintain our focus on ethics, operations integrity, sustainability, and on creating a diverse equitable, and inclusive work environment.”
Aldo Govi will be based at Infineum Headquarters in the UK.
